All college has taught me so far...

Seriously, like I learn something new and depressing about the state of the world everyday.

Its just chaos. Complete chaos.

And it makes me feel depressed and helpless and naive for ever thinking that the world was so glorious.

The people in it are great, but the state of it is definitely not.

nonexistent motivation.

I cannot bring myself to do school work.

It is a serious problem.

Like I procrastinate, and I know it's bad, but its like I just don't care.

I HAVE NEVER WANTED SUMMER MORE.

This is what summer is to me:

care free, spontaneous, warm, beach, love, fun, laughing, adventure.

I want everyday of my life to consist of exactly that.

winter term please go fast. i cannot take you anymore.

Also, I have become a workout-aholic.

I have learned to love it. Its something that I honestly look forward to in my day. It gives me energy and makes me feel healthy and happy and confident.

I feel like I have drive right now. And I like it.

Back.

Here is Portland. Again.

Leaving home the second time was worse than the first.

Coming back isnt as exciting as it was the first.

I want excitement. I want success. I want adventure. I want a lot.

I love my classes:

1. International Studies: ehhh. not so great so far. lots of reading dense. Hopefully it will get better.

2. Psychology as a Social Science: LOVE. So interesting. Its a lecture hall too. And I actually really enjoy lecture halls.

3. Spanish 101: THE BEST! So great. Love my teacher, love the material, love the language. By far my best class.

4. Cardio Kickboxing: Great fun. Cardio, toning, techno jams. Fun, good workout.

5. Sustainability: ugh.

Someone bring me a reason to wake up in the morning for something more than my classes.

New Year. 2010.

New Years is my favorite holiday. Hands down.
Just everything it stands for and symbolizes; new beginnings, second chances, resolutions, letting go, starting fresh, new dreams, new goals, new hopes.
Im so ready for this year.

Going back to Portland on Sunday. I am so sad that Im leaving my best friends. I feel like its summer and Im leaving them for the first time again. But its ok. We keep in touch. Visit. Then summer will come and I will be in love.
The only thing I love more than school is summer.
Though I am sad about leaving my friends here. I am ecstatic to see everyone in Portland again. To have my new, exciting, fun life back.
Cant wait for winter quarter, then Spring. Cant wait for this year.
